Expansion to Jack Barber Baseball Park

sls was tasked with developing a phased master plan for the current Jack Barber Baseball Park which includes a complete field refurbishment (leveling the field, new irrigation systems, and new Hilltopper inserts), future field lighting, new restrooms, and expansion of seating, press box and concessions area.
A new Hawks Baseball Clubhouse facility building will be located down the first base line that will house indoor batting and pitching areas, coaching offices, weight training area, team trainer offices, teleconferencing/media center and exterior box seating.
The current clubhouse will be converted to a new academic-study center for athletes. Some of the new site features will be a Hall-Walk of Fame interactive area displaying the ongoing success of past Hawks athletes that have continued their baseball careers and a new outdoor picnic-lawn area for family lounging and viewing the game.
