Texas Tech University 3rd Floor Administration Building Renovations

sls was tasked with creating new departmental spaces for the Graduate School and the Office of Research (OVPR and VPR) for the 3rd floor Administration building. This building was constructed in 1923 and the first building on the TTC campus. This building has a rich historical heritage and future for the use of the University’s ongoing growth.
This floor has approximately 32,000 square feet that was finished out and renovated for these two departments and also included 3 large teleconferencing centers for use by all tenants in the Administration Building. The project documents were expedited in under 10 weeks and the construction project was completed in 16 weeks by Vaughn Construction.
