Description
sls partnership, inc. was tasked with exploring the possibilities of expansion on over 37 acres of land for Texas Tech University. The challenge was to incorporate new student housing of an atypical style while integrating space for retail, dining, community and mixed use spaces. Existing context required careful consideration as the potential for servicing a local hospital was explored as well as connecting the rest of the campus through pedestrial means. The final design was delievered by means of a slideshow presentation for the purposes of discussion among the TTU Board of Regents on housing shortage and the project’s future.
