The LCU Ladies Softball program was in dire need of a facility that allowed them to host visiting teams with pride and enthusiasm for its inaugural season. This cost-effective facility provided served as the proving ground for the Lady Chaps, who went on to win the NAIA world series in their first year as a team. The facility boasts masonry dugouts with storage, wrought iron decorative fencing, a press box and a concession stand all built in a traditional “brickyard” style with a bit of a modern twist.
