Description
The Cook Research Center Facility at Lubbock Christian University needed a new and modern updated appearance for this existing Research/Lab Facility. The existing building interior would be renovated for new research labs for the fields of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Aquatics and Physiology departments. Building additions (steel shipping containers) would addition space for new public restroom facilities, staff/faculty offices, graduate assistance study/research office space and a new teleconferencing center. This renovation was looked at as an opportunity by sls partnership to utilize shipping container architecture and a chance to create a strong connection between the adjacent Maintenance Facilities Building and the new Rhodes-Perrin Fieldhouse Dormitory project.
